Marcie with presenter for the Trailblazers Heritage Award
Marcie in one act PlayMarcie is performing in a one act play for the Kyneton Theatre Company named The Last Scene Of All, written by Margaret Wood and directed by Alan Stone. The play is set in the Gwynne - Garrick home for retired artistes and Marcie plays an ex Windmill girl. Details of performances are on the Gig page. |

At the 2009 Victorian & National Country Music Awards for 2009 Marcie won awards for Victorian Best Female Vocal category and The Trailblazers Heritage Award. Both awards were for her song Daddy, written out of concern for the children of Australian Service men and women. The Davidson Brothers won four awards at last nights presentation. Hamish Davidson, one half of The Davidson Brothers played guitar and fiddle on Marcies recording of Daddy. Marcie has submitted her own songs for the last 10 years in the Victorian competition and she was estactic at having won these awards. |
